Interview with Trent Dickens (sorry, sorry choreographer)
1. How long have you been dancing for?
-Ive been dancing since i was 5 years old. My mother is a dance teacher so i grew up around it all, i never trained tho in other genres of dance, just stuck to sctrictly hip hop.
2. Youve probably traveled a lot being such an incredible choreographer you are, what has been the most memorable thing yet?
-I would say seeing Seoul and hanging out with Justin Timberlake and actually getting to talk to him like a real person.
3. Is there any artist youre hoping to work with?
-No not really, im pretty ok with how ive done so far.
4. Can you give us an update of what youre doing now? anything new we should be looking out for ?
-Im headed in a new direction in my career right now. Im gonna be going to LA Film School starting in august. Time for the next chapter in my life.
5. Do you have any advice you would want to give to those who are hoping to become choreographers/dancers?
-practice, practice, practice…. and NETWORK YOURSELF or youll never make it.
6. Recently, Super Junior won 10 awards for their new song Sorry,Sorry and a major part of that success has to do with the choreography. Everyone in Korea is loving the dance! How do feel about that?
-I am very honored and i know Nick (Nick Bass имеется ввиду) is to. I am happy everyone dug our choreography so much, Thank you!
7. Was it difficult for you and Nick Bass to teach the choreography to them because of the language barrier?
-Yea it was definitely a challenge but we had translators there helping us and Siwon speaks fairly good english. Even tho we dont speak the same language, everyone was still on the same wavelength in rehearsals and understood. Lots of communication with eyes and talking with your hands haha.
8. Is there anyone in Super Junior that you became good friends with?
-Yea I keep in touch with Siwon alot and i talk to Fish (!!! <33333) every now and then to. (вау, правда?)
9. and lastly, on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest), how would you rate Super Junior’s performance of the choreography?
-11!! Those guys killed it!!! (йеееей!)
Any last comments, words to fans, to super junior????
-To all the fans i wanna thank you from the bottom of my heart for being so nice to me and Nick and liking our choreography so much it really means alot. And to the guys keep it goin fellas, yall have made me and nick really proud and we couldnt be more happy with how it all turned out. Miss you guys (Т___Т) and hope to see you soon! Peace!!!
